E-Save Mode
eSave Mode prioritizes the 2.0L engine. This saves the battery charge for later use. When power demand is low, the engine shuts off. It can also be reconfigured to increase the battery charge as well.

The Wrangler 4xe is a plug-in hybrid vehicle. This means that it uses a seamless combination of gas and electric power to get it moving. The Wrangler 4xe comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission that drives all four wheels with Jeep's renowned Selec-Trac 4x4 system. This full-time system is constantly monitoring road conditions with wheel sensors and making necessary adjustments to power distribution to maintain traction at all times. Meanwhile, the Rubicon takes it to new levels of capability with the Rock-Trac transfer case. This offers a low gear ratio of 4:1 to provide better crawling control at low speeds. Additionally, the Rubicon comes with front and rear locking axles, allowing you to get all four wheels moving at the same time to keep up the pace on extreme terrain.
