While the Wagoneer was introduced with only one engine, the 2023 Wagoneer is eligible for two options. The 5.7L HEMI V8 returns as standard equipment for the base-level Wagoneer. This pumps out 392 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque. As standard equipment for the Series II and following trim levels, you'll find a twin-turbocharged 3.0L inline-6 engine. Not only does this boost power up to 420 horsepower and 468 lb-ft of torque, it also improves fuel efficiency by up to 15% compared to the larger V8 engine. Both the V8 and I-6 engines are mated to a TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission that powers the rear wheels as standard equipment. However, more commonly found with the Wagoneer here in Colorado is 4x4, as it is better suited for our unpredictable weather. The Wagoneer is eligible for Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II, or Quadra-Drive II with an electronic limited-slip rear differential. 

The 2023 model year brings about two exciting available upgrades for the Wagoneer. The first available update is the new Wagoneer Carbide Edition. This special edition package is available for the Series II trim and blacks out the Wagoneer for a bold appearance. On the Wagoneer Carbide Edition's exterior, you'll find Diamond Black on the door flares, front and rear fascias, and grille. Meanwhile, the side mirrors, grille rings, roof rails, headlight rings, wheels, and door sill cladding, are covered in Gloss Black. Stepping inside, the blacked-out theme continues with Global Black leather upholstery, Smoke accent stitching, and a black suede headliner contrasted by a tri-pane panoramic sunroof. Another welcome addition to the Wagoneer lineup is the all-new, larger-than-life Wagoneer L. This adds a total of twelve inches to the Wagoneer's overall length and seven inches to the wheelbase. This is to make way for additional cargo and passenger space. It gives you 44.2 cubic feet of cargo volume behind the third row, 172 cubic feet of overall passenger volume, and 42.7 inches of legroom for the third-row occupants. 

When it comes to luxury full-size SUVs, the Wagoneer has reached the gold standard. Even in the Wagoneer's most basic form, you'll get impressive standard exterior features, including but not limited to remote start, LED fog lights, heated power-adjustable side mirrors with memory settings, side-mirror-integrated turn signals, LED headlights, LED taillights, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Meanwhile, upon entering the Wagoneer, you'll be greeted by a leather-wrapped steering wheel in front of a 10.25-inch fully digital gauge cluster, 10-speaker Alpine premium audio, a 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment touchscreen, leather upholstery, eight seats, and more. The Wagoneer also includes an array of standard safety features such as automatic emergency braking, blindspot monitoring, forward collision warning, active lane management, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, and more.
